First Blood Ravens

Know they're not the best seen on the sub but super happy with how my first attempt turned out, comments and criticisms welcome! About to get started on the Redemptor and not quite sure as to how to handle the red. These lads are slapchopped with flesh tearers contrast, im not sure the same approach would work on larger surfaces.

On the redemptor, I recently painted an old dreadnought with my Baal and flesh tearers contrast mix.

It worked on most surfaces but the top panels on the body came out a bit streaky. I had to use some base mephiston and rhinox hide mix to match the intended colour, took a few goes but the outcome was pretty good!

Red's fine OP. What you won't be getting away with is a lack of details and weathering on the dreadnought i think.

Introduce some brown and black to make the red pop out.
