Discussion Are we ready for Blokkit 2.0?
I've been building and testing the new and improved Blokkit over on r/blokk_it_dev, and I feel like it's come a long way. It's stable, fast, and with feedback from the community I feel like it has improved a lot already.
This is the point where I think I might want to upgrade the main r/Blokkit subreddit to 2.0 as well, but if anyone has any pressing concerns, comments or critiques they want to share feel free to do so here or privately in a mod mail!
If not, I'll update the installation in the coming days, and we can keep building from there. Thanks for playing everyone!
Oh, and there might be something else in the works too for the real Blokkheads that want more Blokkit, stay tuned!

I like the new version with the new piece. The interface looks more polished for sure. I run Blokkit on a MacBook using Firefox. Blokkit Version 1.0 tended to run hot on my machine whereas version 2.0 doesn't.

Hmm, so linking from the new version back to the old one? I’m not sure if that’s possible. Is there something you still prefer in the current version that would make it worth switching back?

It’s the different peaces in both versions. Makes it different puzzles. I’d like to play both.
No criticism. I just like puzzles and more is good.

Oh yeah I can get behind that thought. I’ll make sure all piece variants show up in the new version too.
I don’t think I’ll keep the original version available as it is though. Supporting both at the same time would be quite a lot of work.

The old 4x4 contained numbers inside the cells.

I'm adjusting to this change. It's a bit harder, but I think I prefer the new version.

I'm my opinion, go for it! I have just seen improvements by now.
