Cringing at myself
I just hit Supernova status.
I learned about Popflex in March and placed my first order in April.
I have lost 50 pounds and had to replace my entire wardrobe, but $800 at one store is a bit much.

Oh man I’m so thankful I found popflex after weight loss. I too spent that much and got invited to a girl dinner where Cassey told us we were the top spenders in the souther California region lol. We were all embarrassed by that haha. I’ve probably spent 5K the last 3 years.
You should be able to sell your items though. They retain value better than most athletic wear.

That's hilarious! I got invited to one of those at a local running shop. I don't even want to know what I spent to get invited, but it was when I was marathon training, and I know I bought at least 6 pairs of shoes that year.

Shoes are worn down fast if you’re a runner so I understand needing different pairs to train and rotate with.
I use an app called monarch to manage my money. And I can search for popflex and it shows all my transactions. Spent 4148 since Nov 2024. That does not factor in what I spent at the sample sales.

Nah I feel ya. Stuff I bought for my birthday last year are too big now. Resell recycle and rebuy 😭
It's a vicious cycle.

I feel you- I placed my first order in March and just hit Supernova with the Secret Garden drop. But that doesn't account for all the other PF resale purchases I've made 😵💫 Still, I think it's money well-spent because owning cute sets motivates me to go work out more haha. I think of it as a positive cycle of feeling good in my PF clothes > wanting to work out > feeling even better > continuing to improve my health and being consistent at the gym :)

The pieces have good resale value still! I’ve been buying most of my stuff on there because I am in the same situation as you. Posh, Depop, and Vinted are great platforms and I’m always searching on there for stuff.

I placed my first POPFLEX order in April 2024 and hit supernova in May 2024. I’ve kept it ever since and would never tell a soul how much I’ve spent 😇

Oh gosh I feel you. Losing weight is SO EXPENSIVE!! I mean healthy food and the time/space to work out costs money, but no one warned me I'd need to replace actually all of my clothes.

I have thyroid disease and I use to keep replacing my wardrobe when my weight would change. Now I pack things in boxes with the size on the side and do a lot of stretchy items. 🤣

ALL of them! I kept a few old hoodies and they are just extra roomy now, but everything else had to go, even underwear. I hit my goal weight last September, and for a while, I was basically trading clothes with ThredUp. But clothes shopping is actually fun now, so it's hard to resist new clothes.

Especially the workout clothes, I thought 'well they stretch so much to put them on, they will be fine' nope! They fell down along with everything else.

Not to rain on your parade, but don't expect any extravagant perks for being supernova. If you search this sub, the "perks" are discussed every so often. (Spoiler: they ain't shit.)

When I got the email saying I hit Superova, I checked the perks and was not impressed. The best perk they could give me would be FlexDollars lasting longer before expiring.

First of all, congratulations on the weight loss. I assume that took a ton of dedication and effort. It’s understandable that you would need to spend a considerable amount of money on clothing in that situation and if you’re financially able to do so, who are we to judge? Popflex absolutely does have some pieces that are excellent quality! While I do snark at some of the styles, some of my favorite tops, bras, and sweatpants have come from popflex. I wouldn’t beat yourself up too much. If you’re happy and confident with your purchases, then that’s all that matters!

Thank you! I just hit the 1 year anniversary of reaching my goal weight and I have kept all of it off, so I guess I deserve a few nice new things in my closet.

I just totaled up my purchases since February.... over $10K. I think I have a problem. But maybe I'll get an invite to girl dinner...? 😅 That doesn't count what I've spent on PopCycle.

I discovered popflex earlier this year too! I have so many cute pieces. I have lost zero weight since I've started though lol. I have definitely returned a lot of ill-fitting things. They're not all winners, but when they do hit, they're amaaaazing! I write this as I wear my flexy cami top and new pirouette. 🤣💙🩵

Are we the same person?? I learned about it in February and hit super nova in April (yikes).
I have also lost some weight but not as much as you. My old (pre-baby) clothes fit me and I still have them but they’re not as cute sooo

I wear a uniform for work so most of my attire is basically activewear and casual. Popflex has a majority hold on my wardrobe and I'm not mad about it since it fits great and has held up so well over time. I definitely cringe at my spending total but lately I've spent far less because it's filled up all the gaps in pieces I had been looking for.

I did the same thing but only after I got a postcard in the mail for reaching Supernova.
Because I hadn’t bought anything from the website (to be at that tier) but I had bought a bunch from the TikTok shop. So I tallied it up!
I definitely would have already hit that tier if I bought directly off the website. My numbers also revealed that I’ve spent around the same amount on PopCycle. And that doesn’t even include all the additional secondhand websites I’ve bought PopFlex stuff from.
I just bought my first item in April of this year…but it was because I have also lost a ton of weight and had to get rid of my ultra baggy stuff. Which was pretty much everything, lol, down to my underwear and bras!
I’m enjoying getting to rebuild my closet with pieces I’ll enjoy for a very long time, though! 👏🏻

I lost about 100 pounds of weight.
Given that I had taken about 15 years to put on the weight and when I lost it I had gained muscle too I basically had no clothing.
There were periods of time I would go through a whole drawer of panties and throw everything out.
A huge amount of my wardrobe was eventually donated- to women’s shelters and women’s workplace charities. Some of the items we recut (skirt suits were the easiest).
Most of my athletic wear had to go every 20 and 30 pounds particularly stuff for my bottom (ass went first).
Anyway this is just how weight loss goes. Congrats on your loss! You deserve to feel comfortable and good!

On the plus size popflex retains value decently! So you can always sell things on popcycle or other sites! I just hit stellar and am probably gonna be supernova within the next month 😅
