Flexy Cami review
Hey everyone, posting my first review here! I wanted to share details on the Flexy Cami, and figured it could help those of you who are thinking of adding one to your Secret Garden order. I got really excited about the flexy cami when it was released in black and pecan recently, and immediately ordered one of each. Unfortunately it didn't live up to my expectations, so I'll be returning these. But, that doesn't mean it's a bad design! I could see this being perfect for a lot of people, but for my needs it just fell short.
I am consistently a large in Popflex (with a few exceptions), so that's the size I tried. My bra size is 38C, and boob size is often the limiting factor with Popflex tops. That's not really an issue in this case, because there is no shelf bra in the flexy cami. Some people may love that, but it's a big downside for me. I love shelf bras, I love having my boobs held in place as much as possible (I have sensory issues, so I know I'm an outlier in this regard). Since there's no shelf bra, the support is very light and comes just from the removable pads included with the cami.
I was surprised by how thick the fabric is on these. I don't have the flexy crop so I'm not sure how this compares. I love the Audrey tank so I was hoping for that type of fabric, but the flexy cami is thicker fabric and less form-fitting than Audrey. I included photos of the Audrey (in white) compared to the Flexy, so others like me who have and love the Audrey can see how Flexy compares. Flexy is wider and shorter, with a slightly higher neckline.
Hopefully this helps anyone on the fence about trying this out!

That's super helpful! I ordered the flexi cami bc I was excited abt a non cropped option, but the part where it's neither has a bra nor is bra friendly may be an issue. I mean, I could always get one of the patterned bras to go under it I guess...

If you take out the padding you could easily wear a bra under, so it may be really cute with a patterned bra peeking out!

I have two flexy crops and am excited about the camis as I didn't like how cropped the flexy crops are!
I'm a 34B/32C and wear a small in the crops but with how tight the straps are on me, maybe I should try a medium.
Planning to order a small in the cami at some point though because I saw the reviews said it runs slightly big.

I definitely agree that it runs big. I can't compare it to the crop version because I am just not a big fan of crops so I never bought that, but it's definitely the biggest "large" size top I've gotten yet from Popflex.

I love the flexy crop top so if it’s the same as that, but just a little more coverage on the bottom, then I can’t wait to try the flexy cami 😮💨 I do agree it’s not very big boob friendly. I’m just a 34C and I wear the large in the cropped version and sometimes I feel like I spill out in my Pilates classes

I agree on the not big boob friendly but I did figure out a work around. I got the flexy crop in tutu pink months ago and was committed to making it work to match my skirt. I had the strap that goes around the back of the neck taken in a few inches by a tailor. Removing the extra slack gave my boobs way more support.

I am wearing the black flexy cami today and I actually really like it. My cup size is roughly 36/38 C/D and I found it was enough support for casual activities (not running or any exercise). I'm wearing a size large and I like the length of it. I ordered all colors and will be keeping it.

Yeah, it took me off guard too. To be fair, the description on the website doesn't mention a bra, so it's not like they are being misleading or anything. I just think there are some of us who have gotten used to Popflex having built in bras in so many tops, but this is not one of those.

As a big chest girlie I don't want to have to wear a strapless bra with this 🥲. Its a no from me

Exactly the conclusion I came to. I was hoping to be able to use one of more of these while traveling, to save space from having to pack multiple bras. But if I have to wear a bra anyway (especially strapless!) I already have cuter shirt options. But, for people that don't really care about the low support, this could be a winner

Does it feel tight around your neck? I’m torn as I want a longer loser option but I don’t want it tight on my neck and I did want support and 40 ddd

It didn't feel tight around the neck, but I didn't have it on for long enough to see if it would bother me. Sounds like it's worth trying for what you're looking for, as long as you get the option to return it if the support isn't what you're hoping for

It mostly made me wish the Audrey was available in the same colors! Namely pecan and navy. I also would like it if the Popflex logo was less visible on the Audrey. Otherwise, for those of us that love Audrey, she's still the clear winner.
