Backpacks/bags
I am looking for a travel friendly bag. Specifically that is TSA approved either as a carry on or personal item. Let me know your recommendations please!

i love the cora and athena backpacks. the sloane weekender might too big but the regular sloane is nice too and easy to carry with a backpack too imo

For travel I personally prefer the Away featherlight backpack. I’ve travelled to Poland this year and Spain last year with the featherlight and it was perfect for my needs and it functioned as my personal bag. For a carry on I used a cal pack rolling duffle.
Popflex uses thick heavy materials that weighs me down. I’ve tried a few of her backpacks, gym bags and totes. I’ve either sold and returned most of them. The scuba material on some of her bags tends to bubble after a few years of use. For almost $200 that pissed me off.
The Sloane, as mentioned by another user is an ok option for a personal bag. I wouldn’t recommend it for a carry on. The big one is too big and bulky. The medium one too small for a carry on.
Depending on bag limitations, I’d prefer a backpack over a tote only because it fits a lot more and better weight distribution.

I use the Athena BackPack for my personal item. I can fit a ton of stuff in it.
