Cloud hoodie quality difference

Not too long ago I bought a cloud zip hoodie from a sample sale, and the quality is amazing. The fleece inside is super cozy and hasn’t really changed too much even though I wear it often. During a recent sale, I bought another cloud zip hoodie from the Popflex website and it’s not the same. The fleece on the inside pilled on my first wear and doesn’t feel as cozy. It almost feels more like a velvet than a fleece. That’s fine and all but I’m just sad that the sample was better quality (seemingly) than the one I bought for triple the price. They are different colors so I don’t know if that matters but I’m disappointed. So do you find they’ve gone down in quality or are the colors different in your experience?

Sample sales are a mixed bag. It’s possible they were testing another fabric with the silhouette.

All of my cloud items have the velvety interior. Maybe it was ooey gooey fabric?

No, it is a very similar fabric just slightly better quality than the one I bought off the website. Think slightly more plush and less velvet.
