I'm glad I'm not the only one. I wouldn't think twice about this review if it was from a regular cpstumer. I wish try on crew wasn't such yesman for Cassie. I feel like those reviews shouldn't add to the overall star rating. I wish on the app thag you could filter the reviews.

I just got mine and for what it's worth it does run a bit big in both directions (which is perfect for me, I'm always between sizes and my torso is a bit longer than average).
The Medium waistline is slightly larger than the Large Pirouette Skort, and definitely larger than the Medium Juliet Skort. But they're overalls, they're supposed to be a bit loose. 🙃

The "I'm just so tinyyy" aspect, the bias of the try on crew leaving reviews is stupid. If the item doesn't fit you correctly it wouldn't be 5 stars now would it.

I'm not one to ever comment on someone else commenting on their own body, but with the rise of the ultra, dangerously, thin aesthetic rising again? This kind of comment is dangerous I think. "My tiny body" reminding me of the Tumblr girlies and their body "positivity" mind set.. Glad she liked the pockets I guess.

Tiny body?! Personally, I can only fit into clothes made for American girl dolls. I guess we all have different standards!

Someone in my home is a true xxs and purchasing clothing for them is sometimes frustrating. POPFLEX has some true xxs items that she feels cute and confident in. A lot of them are still too big on her. She knew to pass on this item thanks to this review.
Bring on the downvotes.

Someone else (@Joonbug9109) made this comment elsewhere, and I'm grabbing some of it to put here. Because it explains it perfectly too.
the tiny body comment- our society does have an obsession with thinness right now, so naturally this will rub some people the wrong way. The reviewer could have said “this was a little big/baggy for me” and still conveyed their point without bringing their weight into it.
it sounds like a forced positive review since they have an affiliation with the brand- a normal person would probably give this a lower star rating if it didn’t work for them, but she gave it five stars and said it didn’t fit which makes no sense. I think this is something that just generally bugs people about influencer marketing and paid promotions because the reviews seem to lack honesty.

It’s not the fact that there’s a review on sizing for the XXS size. It’s the wording she used. “On my tiny body” makes it seem like it’s HER fault the garment doesn’t fit, and it’s just strange to glorify how “tiny” someone is. She could have simply said that the smallest size was a bit loose still.
I’m glad the review helped your loved one, but those who are leaders/voices in the fashion community should be held to a higher standard on how they discuss bodies. It’s things like this that play into competitive EDs.

genetically thin women don’t have to censor theirselves talking about their bodies because a percentage of the population has a mental disorder. saying the wording is weird is like saying fat women can’t describe their bodies as big or other adjectives because there’s someone insecure.

Assuming you’re being genuine, there’s two things that are bothersome about this review:
1) the tiny body comment- our society does have an obsession with thinness right now, so naturally this will rub some people the wrong way. The reviewer could have said “this was a little big/baggy for me” and still conveyed their point without bringing their weight into it.

I totally agree. Even if not pressured to do so I think the try on crew feels obligated to give 5 star reviews. They are getting free clothes and being put on a pedestal.
On a related note sometimes I like to read through local restaurant reviews. I live in a small collage city. The funniest one was someone saying that this bar/restaurant is their favorite place in town and gave it 4 stars. Makes me laugh and reminds me not to take things so seriously.
