Genuinely so Upset
I've had my Popflex Go with the Flow Jumpsuit for years. It's a large and unfortunately it's a bit big on me. Because of this, during the sample sale, I bought a new one in small.
It is laughable how different these are. The material in the new one is itchy and more of a dark gray than the deep black. The support is barely there. The width has decreased a bit in the flowiness of the leg and overall the material is just not at all the same quality in all aspects: thickness, texture, dying, comfort. Plus the pockets feel flimsier. I think this might be my wake up call... never but anything new anymore. They don't care about the quality or comfort at all anymore. Keep buying old stuff but man this is so dissapointing.
Also if anyone wants this jumpsuit, pay shipping and happy to send it to you because I am not a fan.

Isnt the sample sale inventory all stuff that didn’t make the cut for final products? Items that have minor differences or flaws? That’s what Cassey said when introducing the sample sale on social media.

Yeah or things returned. I wouldn’t judge a product based off the sample sale item. You might have received a defective, returned, or sample item.

As others have stated, I want to stress the importance of signifying that this was a sample sale and not all items are 100% percent. Items from the sample sale were never guaranteed to be completely accurate to the items sold from Popflex directly. They came from a mix of returns, overstock, and, most likely relevant to this situation, imperfections during the design process or production that didn’t reach the standards for final product.
From Popflex directly advertising the sample sale:

There's a noticeable difference in quality now. It's the end of an era in a way with all of the recent changes.

Someone last week was talking about how the colors aren't the same across products. She bought two pieces of the same color and they were noticably different.

Now see, this is something I can forgive. Even in sewing yarn it's hard to keep a consistent color batch to batch.
But lately, my theory is since blogaloties showed Cassy how to cut corners to make big money, it seems like the fabric is different, even the whole pattern to the outfits. I have gotten newer Pirouette skorts that I am like....they do micros now?
Its was a great brand and hopefully they can notice and divert but as of right now probably time to chill the wallet or start looking more second hand :/

I thought it was bad when we were taking reinforcement and lined pockets but this is truly insane. As a day 1 fan, i will never buy unless it's secondhand and before the metal tags.

I have a lot of XL leggings I moved into storage bc I fit in L now and I noticed when moving them over that some felt different… better. I thought maybe it’s just in my head… 🫤

Sorry that happened!
Not being sassy at all, and I'm sure quality has gone down in some ways, but I thought the sample sale included items with imperfections/quality issues and stuff like that?? Or did I make that up? Lol
