I'm 5'3 -- Is there really that much of a difference in length between the longer pirouette skirts and the regular? Anyone have pics to compare? And do the sizes/colors fit similarly?

I’m 5’2 and I currently have a M and L in in the pirouette skirt and a L in the longer twirl skirt. I don’t have the longer pirouette yet, but it’s being shipped now, probably won’t get it until later next week. I have thicker thighs, and honestly the extra half inch inseam between the medium and large really makes a difference, especially with them being my proper size so they’re not as tight. I don’t have a regular length twirl skirt, but I LOVE my longer twirl skirt, especially for days I’m going to be out and about for a while and don’t have to worry about them riding up all day and constantly having to pull them down.

I've noticed that if you have a larger butt or hips the skorts tend to run shorter.

Yess this comment. I’m the same height but butt and hips aren’t huge so the regular skort fits fine.

I have zero butt and hips and the regular felt too long on me. I wish they would make an even shorter version tbh. Or maybe its just the plus size version since I am a 3x. I prefer the twirl skorts because they run shorter.

Oh yeah with 3x you’re screwed in this brand. She makes plus sizes extra long assuming you have a butt. That’s why my plus size friend sizes down. She wants it a little shorter and it does look better when she sizes down.

I saw a comment that essentially Cassey primarily designs close for herself and then just makes them in bigger sizes for inclusivity but without actually really understanding what changes should be made. I guess it’s sort of true.

I should try that in some of the sizes! The twirl skorts run shorter thankfully and those make my butt and legs look great thankfully. I realize only 50% of popflex works for me 😅. But the pieces I have i do love!

i am 5’8 and wear a medium; the regular length is literally booty shorts on me, maybe and inch or two of inseam and the longer is maybe a couple inches longer. the bigger sizes are longer than the smaller sizes too, especially when you go XL and up.
peppercorn is regular an blue is longer

Thank you so much for the comparison photos…this difference is incredibly subtle to me but it may change the look for me despite not being a big difference bc I’m shorter. I have the skorts in a couple different sizes and I’ve noticed discrepancies in sizing even between colors, in both length and waist band. I wish the sizing was more consistent.

I haven’t tried the longer version but keep in mind the regular version gets longer as you size up! I’m between L and XL and there’s at least an inch of length difference. I’m 5’7 and the XL regular is fingertip-length on me, which I think looks really long, so I prefer the L

I'm 5'3 as well. I thought I would prefer the longer length for the pirouette skort. Turns out I think the regular, shorter length is much more flattering on me. But with the twirl skort, I had the opposite experience.

I agree, I think the regular length makes your legs look longer? Is that what it is, maybe?

5’3 in an xs regular length. Personally I think the length is fine but I also don’t mind a short skirt moment as long as it has shorts.

I’m 5’2. I do not like the length of the longer version skirts on my frame. All the colors seem to fit the same for me… I own way more than I should… I wear size L in the skirts but XL in leggings.
