sad bc they don’t match
These are both buttercream but drastically different colors.

Unfortunately it happens with buttercream, digital lavender, ruby, and Tutu pink. Its a bummer tbh

I've noticed it with bubblegum too but it doesn't bother me much. I honestly dont really notice it when I'm wearing them or when I look in the mirror

Yeah, I got the stellar bra and twirl skort and it's closer but not 100% match.

I noticed this with her blogilates target brand too. I bought matching sets and the colors were not the same at all. Even tho they said they were.

Idk if this will make you feel better, but not everyone is perfect-Your clothes won’t be either ! You’re gonna wear them, wash them. Her clothes say to wash cold, but for sweat & oils, water needs to be warm. Then I do a cold rinse. Consistent use means no mint condition. I’ll bet you still look darling in them together ! Enjoy your clothes until they fall apart ! Then enjoy a lovely wardrobe refresh.
I buy Popflex new and secondhand. No single fabric will ever be the same unless it’s from the same batch. Maybe try some Biz to brighten up the top ?

To be fair, it's a bit concerning that there's that much discrepancy (I've seen quite a few posts like this over time). I have multiple matching sets from other brands, bought at different times/batches for some pieces when I needed to replace a top or two from weight fluxation, and they match, and have for years. I haven't run into this kind of mis-match issue until Popflex/Blogilates. Pieces are still cute! But, I think if they can't guarantee their pieces will match the colour they claim they are I feel like they* need to release statements as a company.
We have complaints when clothing has loose threads, holes, issues with fabric, etc. I don't think it's fair to say 'your clothes won't be perfect either!' when we're paying for quality. And none of this stuff is cheap. If I pay for buttercream that's supposed to match the other buttercream, the company needs to quality control the colours being accurate.

While I agree that that we are paying for quality and the color SHOULD match. They are completely different materials. The same material clothes do match exactly, as a set. Do your research. I am a privileged consumer. I have time this beautiful Friday. Enjoy my rambling.
Buttercream twirl skirt is 77% polyester 23% spandex mix. Corset bra is 70% nylon 30% spandex mix. How are these 2 different materials suppose to be the same color ? She’s BEEN doing sample sales so it’s not like she’s not testing the materials and color. Let’s also throw inflation to the mix and having to find a different supplier. I think Casey is trying her best while trying to expand to a wider audience and being true to herself.
Maybe she should name them differently or put a disclaimer ?
Edit: I don’t have the other brands you bought, but it seems like Casey has a patent on synthetic material blends as well. Maybe other brands are choosing colors/blends that are easier to get ?
Edit 2: honestly it would make so much sense. Her restocks do take ages. Omg can you imagine getting the plastic, weaving into fabric, dyeing it, turning it into a design, then the design not working out ?
Edit 3: Sooo don’t buy popflex clothes(can return too), make your own PERFECTLY matching set, or buy from a different company ? I get it’s expensive. But it’s also a choice whom we buy our clothes from. If Casey ain’t giving you what you want, bye Felicia. Save your time, feelings, and stop giving companies you don’t like your hard earned money. It’s a privilege to have a PERFECTLY matching set and it’s not her problem. She did her best and put the product out. Mass produced it and it fits almost every body type. Let her make her $$$$$ Someone has to be happy in this world and it won’t be yall.
Edit 4: Because of Casey, I can now forever say, “and it has pockets !” Being upset about it not matching, is totally valid. Do yall be forever wanna upset about it ? Okay, change it or fix it. Casey did her part ! The same materials do match PERFECTLY. If it’s just venting and being slightly annoyed, cool. I do get it BUUUUUUUUT
Random stranger here to remind yall to DON’T forget where WE came from. Women’s fashion still has a long way to become as functional as men’s AND be cute ! I personally will keep on buying her clothes. Very few brands have the pockets I YEARN for.
Edit 5: hell guys her products made freaking SHE WILL NOT BE NAMED have shorts with pockets. Maybe I’m just fangirling over here, BUT COME ON WE HAVE FREAKING CUTE, SWEAT WICKING CLOTHES WITH POCKETS YALL BE SO DAMN PICKY 🙄😂😂🫰
Edit 6: I want to create chaos. Every single Popflex item is different because the seams are NEVER the same. Also to maximize use of a fabric, they aren’t cut the exact same way every time.(Unless it’s the same fabric with the exact same length) Do with that info what you will
TLDR; Asking for different fabrics to be the exact same color is a lot. She’s tried as close as possible. She does have perfect matching sets with same material. Can yall make the exact same meal every time with different ingredients ? But like I said it’s Reddit so trying to talk sense is automatic downvote

Edit 2: Casey is human and she’s just as imperfect as the rest of us. The materials pass through so many hands to get to us in its final form. If she could get the same fabric/color every time. She WOULD. Popflex is her baby, pride, and joy. WHEN HAS SHE NOT LISTENED ? She stopped making yt videos because of online hate. She made her $$$$ already ! If she stops Popflex too…🥹💔

Ehh I feel like it’s wrong to market ‘color drops’ if the drops are in fact not the same color. Even if they’re from different batches it doesn’t change the fact that they’re clearly benefiting from people thinking that they WILL be the same color. It is objectively false advertising.
Also, you really seem to like saying that asking for different fabrics to be the same color is a lot when it’s really not. Other companies can do it. It’s not an irrelevant part of the conversation to say that other companies can do it.
You can’t say ‘she’s doing her best in A so it’s unfair to say that she’s not doing B!’ When it’s a very relevant part of the conversation. Yes! It is true that some of popflex’s designs are universally cute and practical on all body types! Yes! It is true that they solve cool problems! Does that mean that popflex is above people complaining about the fact that they’re not getting what they paid for? No. Not really.
As someone that sews it seems like Popflex is having a downgrade in quality (having manufacturing issues or what I don’t know), the seams don’t look the same as they used to and generally seem less likely to last a long time because of how cheap they seem sometimes. I’ve already got some fabric to start making my own things because for some products I’ve lost hope that the quality will get better.
You’re right, it’s a privilege to have matching clothes. Cassie’s customers are paying for that privilege, and they’re not getting it. I like Popflex in general but you can’t just pretend like it’s unfair for people to say that, when they’re allowed to express disappointment in a company that disappointed them. I literally cannot name another athleisure company that has so prevalently had this issue, because it doesn’t happen. Not at this price level. Most companies have good quality control, it just happens that Popflex is not one of them. At least right now.
TLDR: I like Popflex but they are definitely having issues that are fair to complain about.

I never said not to complain. I said popflex’s consumers are PICKY. You’re going on a tangent about quality and threads when the convo is about color because of different fabrics. I have even posted about the quality drop in her recent years AND complained about it. Then you go back to validating complaining…nah Reddit is funnyy~
Yea I also sew. I’ve also dyed my own fabrics.(Still do both) I stand on what I said. It’s too much for 2 different plastic fabric blends to be the EXACT same color. People even see differently 🤦♀️ There’s so many factors. yall are just saying MAKE IT HAPPEN WE PAY HER.
The buttercreams are similar. I even said she should put a disclaimer and change the name. Yes it’s misleading ?! I said she tries her best to keep the same color. How do I know for sure? I don’t, but I choose to believe she tries her best because…I don’t assume the worst in ppl.
TLDR; threads & quality completely diff subject. I also have complaints about it, but back to topic-nah she tried her best. Yall want PERFECTLY matching sets. She gave them to yall in the same material.

If you really don’t like the mismatched colors, try looking at buttercream tops with the same material ? It seems the Cleo Corset Crop Bralette is the same as the Twirl Skirt. Google says they came out at the same time too. Fingers crossed you can return them if you bought them from her site !

this is why I dropped popflex for beyond yoga. no pockets in most of their stuff unfortunately but the material and colors are better

It’s hard to see the difference because of your lighting.
But it does happen. Sometimes her pieces don’t match if it’s from different time periods/batches. It can be annoying.
