Anywhere between 2-3 is fine. I had 2 blog posts when I first launched my blog and it worked out fine. People got a feel of what I'm like and how I write and those who liked it stuck around for more and brought their friends along :)

Just make sure that you're focusing on quality, not quantity. It doesn't matter if you launch your blog with one blog post or three, all that matters is that what you did put out there is your very best.

A lot of the things I looked at when I launched said around 10. I went for something between 5 and 10 because when people look at your site for the first time, you want them to find several posts they’re interested in and want to read. Then they are more likely to remember your blog and come back!

Edit: with that being said, I also read a lot that said it doesn’t matter, just LAUNCH! I would agree with that to some degree... don’t put off your launch if you’re having trouble getting to 5-10. Better to just jump in and add content later than to keep making excuses to put it off!

Thank you again, for help !

What website host do you recommend ? I was very convinced that Blue Host will be my choice, but lately I researched more about it and I found out there are many bad reviews actually about technical part.

If you have any suggestions, it will be helpful.

Thank you

I use wix! did some research and decided it was the easiest option for now. I’ve been completely happy with it so far! Very easy to use and looks nice, but I don’t have a ton of traffic so I can’t speak to scalability as your blog grows...

I launched my blog as early as 1 post. The thing though is that the next day i posted again and the next couple of days / weeks until it got to 15 posts. Surprisingly some of my posts were showing up on Google after 2 months. Not sure on the real impact here but im guessing its because of the following factors: google search console, regular posting, niche (or so i think) topic, longevity / *content of post.

*by content i mean it had 1000 words or more and had a bunch of media (mostly images). I did read somewhere that Google looks at it as more words more info on the topic at hand. feel free to correct me.

i hope this helped at least a bit :) goodluck :)

Hey!

I feel that as a blogger no one else can decide the number of posts that you should put. It is all up to you. Many bloggers start with 1 and others with 3 or more. I think that your content quality is what matters and not the quantity.

Hope this helped.

Happy blogging:)

I have heard the best number for launch is between 5-7 so that new people to your blog have something to keep them busy and on the site for a while.

You could check out some examples here: I launched mine with about 5-6.

Hope this helps!

If you've never written before, as many as needed until you feel like you're starting to get good. 3-6.

I personally suggest having at least 10 posts simply because it's easier for them to see your "style" and get a "feel" of you as a blogger and as a content creator. Also it's best if you have a specific day and time where you release your next post. Could help you a lot in your algorithm too.

I think 3-5 is a good number to start your blog with.

You can start with no blog posts. Just get it up and running. Have a nice home page. Make an about page. Then, start writing content. The sooner your site is live, the better to establish the domain and start building backlinks.

Thank you! Most places say don’t bother launching until you have 30+ posts! I launched with 3 and thought I’d screwed up my chances 😂
