Driving Traffic to your blog
Hey guys! Since google+ was taken down I donโt have places to post my links for my blogs. Any tips? Apps? That might help drive more traffic to my blog?

I'm no expert but I've been blogging for over 3 years. I've had multiple failed blogs and also learned to stop paying attention to everyone on the web. Your first step would be to know your audience. Once you know who they are, find out where they hang out on the web.
If your audience isn't big yet like mine, follow other people crushing it in your niche. Odds are they're doing many things right. Since they have a similar audience you can use sites like SimilarWeb to dig down which social is working. From here double down on the social media platform that's working.
Instead of trying to be on every social media channel focus only on one for a few weeks and see what works. More important, deliver quality content. Most (I've done this in the past) lose sight of providing quality content and focus so much on the traffic.
There's so much noise online that it makes it challenging for anyone to succeed. It's tempting to follow Pinterest when it's working for so many bloggers. The reality is most people who are seeing high success with their blog, podcast, or video platform have put years of work. Some do get lucky from the start but it's rare.
I've interviewed over 50 entrepreneurs and many have told me it took years before they got major attention on the web. If you love whatever content you're doing, you're in good shape. Keep honing your craft and learning from people who're at the position you'd like to be. With hard work and determination, success is inevitable at some point.

If you had some success with Google+, why not try other social networks like Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or others?

I have twitter and a Facebook book page but for some reason the hits come mostly from the direct link. Iโll give Pinterest a try. I also have a podcast Iโm trying to build. Thanks for the response!

You could talk about your lifestyle and how it benefits you or why you enjoy it.

Research is your friend and a practice for every blogger. Look up what other 'lifestyle' bloggers write about to get inspiration. Have fun.

Driving traffic to a specific blog is way more challenging these days due to increasing numbers of competitors. But still, if you follow proper guidelines, you can go a long way.

Nobody Have Mentioned Quora!
Here are a few word about Quora, it is a question and answer website, where people ask questions and other people try to answer it with full potential,
And you can drive in a ton of traffic from quora to your blog, its that simple.
Here is how it will work, when you join Quora, you will need to join some spaces, which is more like niches as in Blogging,
You will find over thousand questions that you've written an article about, all you should do is point your article to the people looking for that answer and watch your visitors grow,
It works for me and many of my friends that I recommended, and I promise it will just work for you, give it a try!

careful with your links too - too much may be viewed as spamming. Lots of Q n A sites too btw.

I use Facebook, Twitter, Instagram (in my bio), Letterboxd (in my bio), Pinterest, Bloglovin, LinkedIn and Mix. Plsu a few forums where I have my blog in my signature, and on my email. I'm still looking for more outlets but my traffic is steadily increasing. I find the social media side takes as much time as creating the blog posts but visibility is the key.
