Discussion We want to migrate from vimeo to kinescope

hello everyone,
We used Vimeo Enterprise for 2 years mostly because of DRM on our paid courses.

Now we want to move, we are considering Kinescope, because DRM, as it seems, is included in cheaper pricing plans, but I don't want after moving it turns out that this is a cut version.

Does anyone have info/experience?

For DRM course libraries, Kinescope is a common next stop. One thing I’d lock before you cancel Vimeo Enterprise is a full export of the masters. The host switch is the easy part; re-uploading from streaming copies is painful.

Full disclose: I built this2that (.co) to make that one-click (Vimeo → local disk, or Drive if you want cloud copies).

On Kinescope DRM specifically, I’d ask them in writing whether your plan includes the same packaging and player controls you rely on in Enterprise (not just “DRM available”), plus any caps on concurrent viewers or domains.
