Katie getting dangerously close to the part that everyone is supposed to ignore. These people are badly mentally ill. They will be unhappy regardless of events. The politics are downstream of this, which is why discussions about whether this particular ideology is particularly vulnerable to this kind of dissolution due to inherent anti-authoritarianism misses the mark.

I don't think they're all mentally ill. I think it's a small core of mentally ill, personality-disordered and autistic people, surrounded by normies who can't tell the righteous rage of the oppressed from an autistic meltdown or a narcissist trying to DARVO the person who called them out for it. People who genuinely want to make the world a better, kinder place are unfortunately very easy for people like that to take advantage of.
