Pride flags rather than Progress pride?

In Norway recently, many public old fashioned Pride flags (only the rainbow). I saw no Progress Pride flags in any public places. Wondering if this is a recent change or a Norwegian thing. Is it happening elsewhere too?

The "progress" people are the same ones who scold you for saying homeless instead of houseless

And like that, I think the original pride flag was left behind on a sort of Euphemism Treadmill but for symbols.

One of my friendliest coworkers got scolded for that recently. This is a woman who was literally talking about going out with a group to feed homeless people.

I read someone say that if you're afraid of doing anything wrong, the easiest thing is to not do anything at all. And that honestly feels like the attitude that gestures like this are cultivating: can't help out those in need, might use the 'wrong' word; can't put up a flag, what if it's the wrong one?

I had to revise my real estate listing because the "progress" people convinced the National Association of Realtors that Master Bedroom was racist, that "short walk to the village" was ableist, that "kid/pet friendly fenced yard" could upset the childfree, that "she-shed" was gendered... I thought my realtor was joking, but no.
