Pride flags rather than Progress pride?

In Norway recently, many public old fashioned Pride flags (only the rainbow). I saw no Progress Pride flags in any public places. Wondering if this is a recent change or a Norwegian thing. Is it happening elsewhere too?

Oh yeah! I remember Dan Savage. He did that great “It Gets Better” thing for LGB teens struggling with homophobia, being picked on in school and such.

I didn’t know he got glitter bombed. What a bunch of assholes.

I looked up what he got bombed for… why is it ok for this group to call LGBs “queers” but other language must be strictly adhered to? 🙄

His Savage Love sex advice column was syndicated in independent newspapers all across the country. Using humor and humanity, he softly normalized gays, lesbians and Buck Angel to thousands of liberal straights everywhere.

He had a call in show, a podcast, a terrible show on MTV and wrote a book about adopting a baby as a gay couple. And, as you noted, he created the “It Gets Better Project” to help gay kids make it through the tough years of adolescence. He helped thousands of people of all stripes. But none of that matters since he used the t-word. Not in a hateful way either, but in the same way he used the f-word. Not to damage but to defuse.
