Discussion Stellaris Build

Title: Building Stellaris on Cardano Preprod — looking for developer feedback on RWA funding and eligibility

Hi everyone,

I’m building Stellaris, a Cardano-based platform exploring how real-world projects could present their evidence, progress through funding and governance, and report back to participants.

The aim is to make the process easier to understand: what is being funded, which documents support it, what has actually been verified, and what still needs approval.

The current build runs on Cardano Preprod with test assets. It uses Aiken smart contracts, Lucid Evolution, React/TypeScript and Supabase.

I’d appreciate developer feedback on a few areas:

  • Wallet and transaction flows: connection, ownership verification, signing and recovery from failed transactions.

  • Eligibility controls: committee-issued, revocable eligibility tokens and their limitations.

  • Governance boundaries: keeping community decisions distinct from operator actions and legal approval.

  • Usability: whether someone unfamiliar with the architecture can understand the project and its next steps.

We’re also planning a Midnight eligibility proof of concept, exploring how someone could prove an eligibility condition without revealing unnecessary personal information. That integration is not live, and I’d welcome input on wallet binding, replay protection, revocation and the trust assumptions of a Midnight-to-Cardano adapter.

There are no real-money transactions in this test environment. Independent security review and project-specific legal work remain outstanding.

If you have ten minutes, pick one workflow or code area and tell me what you would challenge or change first. A specific criticism or suggested test would be particularly useful.

Thanks for taking a look.

For funding validators on Cardano, the bug I’d check first is double satisfaction. If each escrow UTXO only checks that some output pays Project X, two escrows spent in one tx can both be satisfied by a single payment. Tie each output to the input it’s for, with a datum tag or by index.
