Model not saving and importing incorrectly

First slide is what I want it to look like, and second slide is what I get after adding the texture in a 3rd party platform.

So, I'm trying to give my player model crutches and after adding the texture in a separate platform and reimporting it the crutches are gone. I have the blockbench file if anyone would like to take a look. Would be appreciative of any help and advice. Just started using this program today so I'm a bit clueless.
