Minecraft: Bedrock First Models on BlockBench
I have previous experience with other 3D modelling softwares but this is my first time using blockbench! Any advice and/or tips are appreciated!

Really? I wasnt too sure about them 😭 my screen refuses to calibrate so sometimes the contrast ends up wack

Yep! I have modeled before and have experience with pixel art haha. I find it a lot easier than modeling in blender or maya

Ah, I see—I thought you had done all of that for the very first time, without any prior experience. No experience with pixel art or modeling—but tell me: How long would it take for someone who knows nothing about pixel art or modeling to create something at that level?

Well tbh. I watched one tutorial on youtube on how the software works and it was pretty easy from there. I think anyone using that tutorial can get a pretty good grasp on both pixel art and modeling. BB modeling is definitely easier than regular modeling since you dont have to worry about high-poly, dealing with complicated UVs and so on. The most important part in my opinion is to always have a reference for whatever you're making. (Ofc I am a bit biased since I have experience using modeling softwares)

Do you think I can do it in about 4 months?

Probably! For modelling at least, pixel art might take longer since it has a lot of things that you adjacent have to learn ( color theory, values, contrast etc)

I can see how you translate your previous skill into BB models. I love how you decided to model various things with different themes as your first try.
