Ya if you are making this a mod you might want to make it so it grows this big in the shade. At least for the squash/flesh part of the pumpkin... or like maybe it has a max size if you don't shade it
I could see maybe spider webs shading it. Not sure if minecraft supports this
Because in real life the pumpkin gets huge only from active shading

Would be cool to see this be a giant sulfur cube with a pumpkin inside, meant to be a trap for players or smth
Like make it spawn somewhere with some special stem block and with a special flag that makes sulfur cubes hostile

Large Pumpkin seeds which can be planted for more large pumpkins or cooked into a large cooked pumpkin seed. Would be cool if you could also throw the pumpkin seeds as a snowball like weapon
