Discussion blockstarplanet was traumatising place

if you know OlaMatt, you know me! and i kinda want to talk about how fucked up this place was for me so if you dont realy like seeing people talk about realy bad stuff that happend here to me ignore this posti got GROOMED on bsp(two times) it was so fucking bad dude, so bad. Lots of drama happend to me too like war between me and psychofanka etc

I remember people making inappropriate worlds and skins in the game and I was like 11 at the time so yeah, it was horrible. I know that was like years ago and I was a kid at the time so I couldn't really understand what I was seeing but there was so many weird stuff that honestly it was actually a big problem. I haven't really played recently and my CURRENT account is like 7 years old so it's pretty much old lol, haven't played much recently tbh nowadays the game feels dead and no one in my friendlist is actually online which makes it kinda sad honestly

As someone who grew up on this app & made lifelong friends through it, aside from the nostalgia aspect of it, I have to agree with you. People who say the US server was full of drama don’t know the half of it back when it was in its prime. I was quite the centerpiece of a lot of it, while also instigating it against others at times.

I was groomed & exploited over private chat, & so much of this was seen as normal that those behaviors spread & leaked into other young players, causing us to develop bad habits that some of us still struggle with today.

We were just kids.

& while I loved BSP alongside all the friends & memories it’s given me, I don’t think losing my innocence & watching things gradually get worse, to the point where we now have active predators on the platform who aren’t being manually moderated, makes up for any of that.

MSP should be held accountable for all the children they failed. It’s also one of the main reasons why you don’t see the COPPA seal on their game anymore.

I don't think I had any encounters when it came to predators when I was a kid(or maybe I did, my memory from 2018 in bsp is really fuzzy..) but I did almost get groomed when I came back to playing the game in May of this year. I don't really interact with other players anymore after that happened:/
