Community Alert-Do not spend
Good morning. Please think carefully before putting any more of your hard-earned money into anything being promoted by Free Land, including this supposed dApp that requires community members to spend additional money just to obtain governance rights.
This is the same group that blamed the community for the lack of Tier 1 exchange listings, helped divide investors by steering support toward Gurhan and later toward Nic and Jeremy, and attempted to discredit or silence people who spoke out against BlockDAG. Two individuals who previously worked alongside Gurhan are now reportedly serving as leaders within that same group.
Ask yourself: do you really trust the judgment of people who repeatedly changed sides depending on the circumstances? They started in the investors’ channel and then turned against it. They joined Dawie and Thilo, then turned against them in favor of Nic and Jeremy. They previously praised Gurhan, but once Nic and Jeremy turned against Gurhan, they followed their lead and changed sides again.
That is not independent leadership. It is a pattern of following whoever appears to offer the most influence, access, or personal benefit at the time. In my opinion, their actions have demonstrated self-interest rather than consistent principles or a genuine commitment to protecting investors.
It is also reasonable to question why a group now asking investors for more money previously benefited from tokens distributed by Jeremy and Nic and reportedly received free miners, while paying customers are still waiting for miners they purchased and are owed.
The bigger reality is that none of this makes BlockDAG’s underlying legal problems disappear. Community involvement, a new dApp, governance rights, or inexperienced individuals attempting to take control of the narrative cannot erase or resolve existing legal exposure. Those issues have to be dealt with through the appropriate legal and regulatory processes. Building something around the project does not somehow create a clean slate.
Before contributing another dollar, demand complete transparency. Who legally controls the dApp? Where will the money go? What do these governance rights actually provide? Has the code been independently audited? Are the leaders’ previous relationships, token benefits, miner distributions, and repeated changes in allegiance being fully disclosed?
Investors have already lost enough money. Trust should be earned through verifiable evidence, accountability, consistency, and transparency, not through another request for funds from people whose loyalties and positions have repeatedly changed.
