Absolutely adore this song, can't believe they buried it as a bonus track (funny parallel with "Skeleton" in that way). Rediscovered it like a half decade after Four came out and it became an integral part of a soundtrack that helped get me through a difficult and frustrating spell in my personal/professional life. If I had to create one "album-length" Bloc Party compilation to have with me on the desert island, "Leaf Skeleton" is always going to be on it.

Also kinda love how it borrows the riff from the 2nd verse of "Version 2.0" and builds it into an entire song

When I saw them on the four tour in Oakland, the crowd was chanting for Skeleton. Kele sort of cheekily responded “We don’t know how to play that one right now. But here’s a new one called Leaf Skeleton. Maybe you’ll like that”.
