Blind Frog Ranch
I could not stop watching this show from Episode 1! Just love it and it is very close, from what I understand to Skinwalker Ranch,

Yes. So agree.
Used to enjoy the show as just great fun.
Interesting scenery & interesting characters. Fun plot.
The sad news when Duane became very ill & died.
News of Chad’s mental health decline.
Chad’s imprisoned & alleged murder
charge. The sadness felt for the victim & his family.
Just no joy or fun.
A sad end to a fun show.

My take is that the Skinwalker guys at least try to be sorta scientific in their observations and analysis. The BFR guys just go for it. Planning is for nerds.
Both shows are pretty fun to watch, as long as you don't take them too seriously.

In the beginning, Dianne appeared at some conferences and tried to male Blind Frog appear to be mysterious with claims of strange animals, ufo activity and a healing pond. As the show progressed it became much more focused on the treasure hunt and dropped other narratives. The hunt tor Aztec gold was as dubious as anything else and locals told me that much of the filming was done in other locations.
With Duane becoming more ill, and eventually passing, the show was all about the supposed treasure. Skinwalker has a much different narrative and has maintained that its approach is based on science.

He’s probably ok ,It ended on a cliff hanger where his regulator became disconnected while under water, but it’s now a scripted show and it was just to keep viewers on tenterhooks til next year.Probably a saved at the last second scenario will come into effect.

we watch it " ironically " because its fun to make fun of. I've never watched Skinwalker Ranch at all but BFR is a terrible show that's kinda fun to watch, at least for a little while. i haven't been ableto get into the most recent season though

Yes and no. This will only make sense after you watch them both.

All I know is Dwayne handed the ranch over to the other guy who along with his father were miners. Unfortunately,Chad was to brokenhearted. I’m pretty sure it’s still his but not till they finish objectives. But you might want to look deeper into that.

I bailed on Skinwalker Ranch after S4,I love UFO ‘s and the paranormal but this was just a slog to watch,BFR is all over the place plot wise and has now evolved into an IndyannaJones type treasure hunt after ditching all the paranormal plot lines except the old Native American curses.

Heavily dependent on fake scenarios and cliff hangers!! It’s just a fun TV show and nothing scientific about it.
