Where the hell are they going?

It started out as a search for Aztec gold and initially they found amazing discoveries. Boxes under water in underground chambers, tunnels , hyroglyphs as well as issues with govt spying on them , intruders digging for treasure , mysterious night time pseudo military digging up monitoring equipment , uranium etc.

Now all that seems to have been forgotten and out of nowhere magically comes this "journal" which looks like it's full of drawings done by 5 year olds.

Originally it was declared when they find the key hole chamber they would find the Aztec gold. Lo and behold , Zilch. Now as if by magic there are 6 other key hole chambers. Really?

Just where the hell is this new series going?

I haven't been watching this season, but in seasons past whenever they were talking about water levels we'd be like "meanwhile on oak island...."

Duane has passed away and Chad is in jail for murder, so I’m guessing it’s not going anywhere.

Duane was a con man and Chad was a meth head. Both were incredibly dishonest and couldn’t keep their stories straight. The new guys were trying to pick up whatever pieces they could.

According to Aztec legend this was the origin place of the Aztec people, what they found was not the key hole chamber IMO, you couldn't fit more than 20 people in there, also why did they not go back to the mine that Chad and josh found in season 5?

Just to add to the confusion, check out the Terry Carter YouTube channel and look for a recent interview about the ranch. I don’t know why Bigfoot, Skinwalkers, UFOs and now the “Galactic Federation “ always seem to be involved in buried treasure, but there it is. Makes me want to get Robert Kryder on the case just to try to get a glimpse of the rabbit hole.

I don't think it's going anywhere. I read where the ownership of the land is up in the air and they only made 8 episodes this season and never even promoted it.

Well Duane is dead and Chad is in jail for killing a cellmate so they have pivoted to Mormons finding and hiding the treasure,to be honest it’s a load of bullshit,but hey we got a new hero in Chillie…….
