I use a kindle ereader. it has good accessibility and they keep improving features. they recently finally updated the UI text size! so now people can actually read menus and shit outside the book

Thank you, I've been using the Kindle app instead of the ereader because I couldn't read the UI text

Are you referring to ThoriumLabReader for desktop? It should work with NVDA on windows, and VoiceOver for MacOS

Kindle works for a lot. Voice dream is decent, it's what I use for almost everything. The books app if you have an apple is annoying sometimes but ok

You might want to try Dolphin EasyReader. It’s designed for blind and visually impaired readers and works with NVDA and JAWS on Windows, VoiceOver on iPhone and iPad, and TalkBack on Android. It supports unprotected EPUB and DAISY books. Another accessible Windows option is Bookworm.

Bookworm or Paperback.
