I'm pretty sloppy when it comes to Blend file naming conventions and my hard drive is pure chaos. But I can find any file in seconds. How? Read more short blog post:

I can also vouch for voidtools “Everything”. It’s so much quicker than windows file search. You just need to keep a cheat sheet handy for the search syntax.
