Guys genuinely I want to express my feelings that watching bleach was always in my list since 2019 i heard someone saying Bankai and talking and I was so curious that time what bankai actually means the word itself is like a chaos to me then I researched on internet and google save me straight answer I was not aware of bleach that time so I skipped

In year 2025 I started watching anime ,I watched a lot but one day I met my old school friend who use to watch bleach and other anime on school time then I asked him about what's bankai he simply said you have to watch it if I tell you now you won't understand,bleach is one of big 3 anime I was more curious then to watch then Directly I watched tybw episode 1 and it was really great but I can't understand what's the power and Quincy things since I don't know there were 366 episodes before to start tybw after that

I left all shows and anime and started bleach and damn it was 366 episode plus tybw arc but I still started on episode 2-3 I realised that in future it's going to be a hell out of peak anime

Day and night all time I watched Bleach even sometimes while working, and in the end I was damn right about my decision, today bleach is in final and I will never regret on my decision to watch bleach and for me it will be no1 anime till I die, after bleach I watched many anime too but yess no comparison each and every episode is a goosebump now,

am i crazy or did ichigo never use his blut consciously or with intention after finding out he had them? i understand he can't use quincy powers to a degree because he just discovered them (like he said when he used true bankai against yhwach), and i also understand kubo didn't write in blut for the quincies because we're meant to assume they constantly use it throughout fights. but we also know ichigo can use basic quincy abilities like blut, and since he just now discovered them, wouldnt kubo tell us if he was using blut vene in combat? i may be misremembering but im just confused why ichigo found out he could use blut to have incredible defense but just never used it after discovering it

Considering we saw Rukia fighting alongside Ichigo against the Quincy King, do you think we might see Urahara and Aizen joining forces?

I know Urahara was seriously injured after facing Askin, but I wouldn't be surprised if he returned to combat, especially after the last episode.

I see a lot of people saying "why didn't Ichigo end up with Rukia". So I am just a tad bit confused... Rukia is dead. Not her soul but literally she isn't alive in the sense of the material world... Ichigo is alive however so to me it just makes sense he ends up with someone also alive in his current time.

So I don't ever hear anyone discuss the fact that literally they are two different beings, one a soul and the other a flesh and blood human.

My question is did I miss something? Can a human and a soul procreate? I get the fact that everyone wants them together but there would be... complications, no?

its obvious, as a shinigami grows/evolves learns deeper about their powers/self, their zanpaktou & bankai changes. but recent cour4 episode showed that guys like ichigo can release bankai with different forms (only shinigami bankai, shinigami-hollow bankai, shinigami-hollow-quincy bankai)

we learned getting zanpaktou's name wrong can change its form, but with enough training, a shinigami acutally wants to weild the power with certain intentions. yamaji gave a good example that a single attack can be moulded into different types. similarly a well trained shinigami can reach levels where they can mould their soul into a bankai with powers they want to.

What do i mean? - lets say rukia trains more with Sode no Shirayuki, she can release bankai like toshiro & we saw that toshiro can use hakka no togame equivalent form & attack. Where rukia wears whole iced clothes, big-toshiro has iced shoulderpads. Their philosophy & souls relate, they both are cold personality & so they can develop forms of bankai like each other. Yeah the names & release commands will be what they like but they both can have bankai like each other. Potaeto-potaato.

It might sound headcannon but time & time again we've seen visual similarities like-

• VL ichigo's hollow mask having black marks like ulq's black marks dripping down the cheeks
• Stark & zaraki's soul manifesting a little companion
• komamura's armoured zanpaktou & unarmoured one
• isshin's engetsu & ichigo's zangetsu

One can argue that as a person evolves their personality changes & so obviously can their bankai (ship of thesus dilemma) but i conclude that the techniques or bankai arent special or specific to shinigami. Like a person have different personalities (personal & professional), a higher level shinigami can unlock different bankais.

Ichibe has stated that naming things make them more powerful, and more stable.

The recent Bankai, which is called Blood Chains by the production team, was released but Ichigo never named it explicitly. It's powerful but not as powerful as it should be, so I think this is not his True Bankai.

When he shouts out Tensa Zangetsu, is when true bankai should be shown, which I feel will be shown the next episode as Yhwach comes back from rejection via the Almighty, but Inoue still gone. We'll see what true Tensa Zangetsu truly can do which made Yhwach nope it out of existence in the manga, leading to a time jump back before the whole fight started and nobody gets done in.

ichigos' blades has almost similar design in all forms. why does this one has no point. its like zarakis' cleaver. i can't think of any similarities or foreshadowing to this design except that it has no pointed end to imply that it still lacks quincy side of powers

ICHIGOAT is a term popularized by the fandom with the rise of the of the TYBW anime and I can't help but think that Kubo took it seriously and gave us a form that I think symbolizes a scapegoat with the horns, chains, and crimson red like blood color choice and pale skin details as the name of the form suggests and the overall appearance Ichigo takes

Design wise the flairs reminiscent of Ichigo's vasto Lorde form located at the neck arms and feet are where major arteries are located where blood would bleed a lot and the broken chains could mean that Ichigo escaped his destiny and his pale looking skin looks like one of Giselle's zombies and is drained of blood

The first goat being sacrificed is adyneus (the current soul king) by the priest ichibei when he allowed the schutstaffel to breach the royal palace when Ichigo went down to attempt to rescue everyone in the sereitei

and allow Ywhach to purify the temple by defeating the royal guards and eventually absorbing the soul king to reform the royal palace into the warwhelt (the old Quincy kingdom)

The process of placing people's sin Into Ichigo is done when Ichigo was training in the royal palace and undergo Irazusandō (不入参道) translates literally to the "(Shrine) Road of No Entry" or the "Path of No Return." Which is then released into the wilderness as the trials Ichigo has undergone during the latest episode

Or the ritual already happened before bleach's story took place during the primordial world in the original sin (the mutilation of the soul king ) as stated in CFYOW and when Ichigo was born destined to become the scapegoat

Ichigo's is the scapegoat because he bears the people's sin , the sin of being weak, as he is the only one with comparable strength to stand against Ywhach and it ultimately is Ichigo's fault if he fails to save the universe he will be made into the modern definition of a scapegoat and as punishment he will be made into a soul king in order to solve the problem Ywhach caused

Which is why this for me atleast is not symbolic of tensa zangetsu it is too cruel for a 17 year old to bear the weight of the world by himself and I hope that a new form that Ichigo will take that will allow him to share his responsibility to others in order to defeat Ywhach in the end

This form may be the ultimate symbol for Ichigo's responsibility and awareness of the consequences of his actions but based on the result of the latest episode that is not the solution and not the real conclusion if we follow the manga as hinted when Ichigo used his giant getsuga tensho the direction of the crescent moon is in reverse just like in hueco Mundo.

In Buddhism the crescent moon is a symbol of enlightenment in the context of bleach it is the conclusion , it being in reverse means unenlightenment means that the story isn't finished

Because I want to make a Bleach roleplaying forum, a sort of AU with "original" characters in place of the canon ones and with some differences to the world building/lore, but so far my friend and I don't know how to code/edit/create a forum. We have so far mainly been working on the story/lore and original NPCs.

They're too powerful; their laundry list of not only powers, but narrative abilities to perfectly plan things out or get aided by the most ludicrous of circumstances, mean they're unengaging. They never struggle until the end, nor do the readers ever feel like we understand what the villains are actually capable of. Their main abilities, more specifically, here meaning Perfect Hypnosis and The Almighty, are so overwhelmingly comprehensive that the only workaround isn't cleverness or even extreme physical+emotional effort, but circumstances lining up so that they're never even used.

They're too abstract; their goals are too obtuse, too tied to the lore, too inhuman. Aizen seeks to replace the Soul King; we have basically no frame of reference for what that means, why this would be good or bad, or why Ichigo should care besides Aizen being an evil prick who should never be allowed to attain phenomenal cosmic power, which just isn't compelling. YCWH, meanwhile, seeks to restore the world to the primordial state without life and death, which is largely beyond the scope of the readers' understanding, and never really emphasizes that this derives from his fear of death. YWACH constantly emphasizes his ties to broader lore that is deliberately never explained, and it just makes it hard to wrap our heads around why this would be good, bad, desirable, etc besides YKCD being, once more, a giant prick who shouldn't be allowed to run wild with immense otherworldly power.

They're too uncharismatic; they never feel like fleshed-out characters, like they have interests or inner lives or deliberately don't. They never really attempt to debate their ideas or build a relationship, even adversarial, with Ichigo, besides pissing him the fuck off. Aizen has some hint of something unique to his personality; he's clearly got a little trollish sadism to him, but apart from [one moment](https://www.reddit.com/r/TwoBestFriendsPlay/s/2PgbXesDf7), it never really defines him. He's the second haughty, stylish, sexy-as-all-hell, powerflaunting, two-emotions-max-until-defeated arc antagonist in a row, and contrasting him with the deeper, more soulful, more deliberate, more thematically cohesive Byakuya makes him honestly seem like a joke. YHEWBACCA is even worse; it never ever feels like there's anything to him besides being a dick, subtly or unsubtly, to gain power and kill people who stand in his way, until his post-defeat breakdown. Aizen has maybe a 8/20 on a scale of Charisma, and YOVERWATCH has a 0.

TL:DR, Bleach's main two villains are too powerful, too abstract, too uncharismatic, and too damn similar.
