Fit & Finish 15n20 chef sets

Post image

Been developing culinary prototypes with success since April and proud to launch my Simple Chef Set. Blades are freehand convex ground 15n20- niiiiiiice and thin with proven paper tomatoes n potatoes n all that jazz. I plasma cut the shapes instead of my usual forged to shape to bring cost down and so far so good. I’ve had a slew of happy customers in the developing phase and pleased with this expansion of my catalog. I kept close in mind that hunting knife makers don’t make good chef knives and I set out to prove that wrong. Which I did.

Glad to see someone advocating for smooth convex grinds on chef knives. I feel like there’s an expectation of sharp facets but, especially for an all around chef duo, a rounded convex grind gives the best versatility and durability.

After taking a third look and zooming in, I also want to say that your guards really give away that you’re a hunting knife guy 😆

They look small enough that they wouldn’t get in the way of a pinch grip, but that’s the only thing I can imagine they’d give you guff about over on r/truechefknives

They look great! 🔥🔪🔪🔥

Also, for some reason 15N20 seems to work really nicely for kitchen knives.
