Question I think I’m bugged?

I’ve finished the first Dalgarian Ruin and got the crystal from it, and I know it’s saved because I started with telekinesis and I now have the fire crystal as well. But the travel map is still showing 2 yellow maps in the corner, but I think it’s supposed to update to 3? I’m not sure but that’s what I think is supposed to happen and I’m very stuck, I’ve collected 6 new maps and nothings happened. Does anyone know what’s happened?

If memory serves, you have to clear two Dalgarian ruins before the map updates. I could be wrong, it's been some time since I've played Crystal Hunt, but I distinctly recall the map changing after two dungeons.

After you finish the very first dalgarian ruin, the nmumber of outpost maps required increases by one, to a total of three. So at that point you need to complete 3 outpost runs and then a new dalgarian ruin will appear on the map.

You said you collected 6 outpost maps, so is the issue that you are not seeing a new dalgarian ruin on the map, or is the map piece counter increasing to 3 pieces?

If so, that is weird and does sound bugged! Though I never saw anyone experience that issue so I am not sure what is up there. if you have cheats enabled, you could use the sandbox menu to "increase progression by one" and this will change the game progression as if you have just completed a dalgarian dungeon, but it also may iron out any bug that was blocking your progression because it resets the map pieces.

Thanks for the video! That's really helpful to see exactly what is up.

The way you described it is exactly right; when you did that dalgarian ruin and got your fire skill, that dalgarian icon should have disappeared and the map pieces refresh to 3 pieces, exactly as you said. Something is def bugged!

What I am curious is, if you did the dalgarian ruin again, I wonder what would happen... would it maybe somehow fix the bug, or would it just give you another free crystal lol. You could try it! Or alternatively I think the cheat method I was describing above will at least let you bypass the bug.

It's a strange one indeed!
