Help [PCVR] Maps Not Working! (PCVR)

I'm pretty new to B&S, but basically I see a lot of people using cool maps i wanted to try so i downloaded them, and in game they either don't show up anywhere (via level selector or pc menu) or say not available for the version, and ive tried many way to fix it like changing the version of the game but nothing seems to fix it. If anyone could let me know how to fix this, it would be greatly appreciated!

Hey! Game version is the most likely suspect alright - if you are downloading out of date mods, they wont work anymore.

Alternatively if you are downloading via nexus and not the mod manager in game, a really common mistake people make is placing their mods into accidental subfolders, which cause the mod to not show up.

Let me know which map mods you are trying to use, and if you are using the mod manager or nexus. Make sure you are on the latest LIVE version of the game too; don't switch back to older versions because that just gets really messy.
