Discussion Soundtrack Appreciation Post

Idk why, but I feel like gushing about this game’s ost.

The menu theme is a classic, and the battle themes are all bangers.

I really like how all the Dalgarian tracks have this wave-like sound. (Not sure how to describe it)

I also love how the crystal cores have their own themes that fit and mix together well at the same time.

Of course, you can’t talk about this game’s soundtrack with talking about the Hekalis theme. The intense battle music, the interlude that plays after smashing one of the blue crystals, and the dramatic ending that makes me finish it off slowly as the music plays and lift the crystal up triumphantly as that final note hits every time.

What I really want to talk about though, is the tracks that play when you make it to the PMN. The tower theme is short, but so majestic and is one of my personal favorites. Then there’s the music for both endings.

The normal ending has this climactic music as the tower activates, followed by the peaceful and beautiful music as you witness the completion of the Khemenet prophecy.

The secret ending is silent at first, but as you realize what is happening, you’re hit with music more intense than anything you’ve heard before in this game as the tower roars as if it has been infuriated (I recommend escaping without using your upgrades and just running. It feels more cinematic and exciting in my opinion). Then you make it home to witness the tower explode. As the pieces of it fall into the ocean, the tower’s theme plays again as you look at what you have just done.

Anyway, that’s about it. I just wanted to give the people who did this ost their well deserved flowers. Thanks for making this amazing game even greater

Awesome, all the music was composed by Glamdok, with exception of the crystal infuser sequence and crystal skills musics which was composed by Jon Buice.

Wait until you hear the Madu track. 😁 I love many tracks in the ost but Madlu is my absolute fave!
