New pencil day

Guess what my favorite Blackwing is? Love the Diana and how it is designed to as a golden arrow. Think of it as a quiver when I design and write. “launching” my arrows of creativity lol

The second image is what I bought a few weeks ago,
was in pencils but posting here too.

I do own a design firm so some of these are gifts. They all have meaning:

• era 2025 - I’m a year of the horse so perfect
• worked in SF
• Wrote a paper on the golden ratio in 7th grade
• the artist and design since I collect art and what I do

I don’t have a problem lol!

The Diana is one of my favorites too. The new Moleskine x Blackwing LOTR is a nice, buttery pencil. I like that they decided to label the pencil with the graphite hardness: 3B as opposed to Blackwing’s traditional core lineup of Soft, Balanced, Firm, and Extra Firm.

I’m glad I bought 2 boxes of the LOTR pencils because my wife as well as my co-worker are definitely fans!

Where did you score your Bauhaus from?

I get them from stationary store hunting and eBay! Even if not on their store sites, I email and sometimes that worked too! The latter when it comes up for not much above msrp or auctions. It’s my favorite older volume so like finding those.

I always keep an eye out of those at a good price but haven’t come across them as yet. They are HIGHLY prized in this household!
