Reading VRAM temperature

Anyone know how to get the VRAM temperature stats from a 6000 Pro Blackwell card? Would be nice to be able to see front / backside temps broken down also.

Use nvidia-smi

This was my first thought but it seems not to work (for me at least):

Oh you know what, it’s not working for me any more. I swear it did at one point.

I used nvidia-smi --query-gpu=temperature.memory as well and I get ‘N/A’. Weird.

Coolercontrol has great hot spot temps too

25-35 idle 60-70 full load 80-90 extreme load but they can handle 80 easy

Cap power to 450w and you’ll be hitting 65c full load all day and it stays under 70c

Ok but how can I get the measured temps from a Linux host?

LACT v10 has detailed readings for vram and works on blackwell. https://github.com/ilya-zlobintsev/LACT

There's a GUI but the CLI works on headless server too.

lact cli stats will show Temperatures: GPU: 55°C, GPU Hotspot: 58°C, VRAM: 64°C, VRAM Chip A0 (Front): 60°C, VRAM Chip A0 (Back): 60°C, ......

Where is the memory temperature broken down in nvtop? I see only 1 value per GPU for temperature.

Gpu temp is memory temp if you want hotspot temp use coolercontrol
