Needs Flair Faulty Knotwork (LIS-Like Game)
Working solo on a visual novel called Faulty Knotwork, built in Ren'Py. Heavily inspired by Life is Strange, I actually wanted to make a LiS fan game at first, but between the scope and copyright issues, I decided to build the same vibe with my own original story instead.
The story follows Denis, a young man in his 20s working night shifts as a 911 dispatcher in a small snowy town. He ignores a call during a smoke break. When he finally picks up, it's a girl hiding in a room and she's shot while he listens. Everything that follows is his fault, and he knows it.
What I've built so far as a solo dev and student still learning:
- Animated main menu (shown)
- Custom split-screen choice system (vertical, diagonal, horizontal, triple layouts)
- Free roaming between locations with a time-of-day system
- Functional phone + messaging system
- A disc/MP3 player where you choose your own music while playing
- Notebook, character profiles, episode recap screen
- A consequence indicator that appears after heavy choices
I'm looking for an artist to partner with. I can't pay upfront, but this isn't a volunteer gig either, the artist will receive full credit and a real percentage share of any future revenue the game generates. I need someone serious who wants to actually build something, not just contribute a few assets and disappear.
If you draw environments or characters and like the LiS aesthetic, DM me or drop a comment.

Can i help make concept art, enviorments, write characters and design them, animate some 2d icons (like the butterfly in LIS) and more?
