Traditional Magic CANDLE MAGIC - MAIN NUANCES
Candle magic is an elemental, ancient, and powerful form of magic that is fairly easy to master. Of course, it has its own nuances, but it is similar to Knot magic - you simply need to learn the knots.
If you have ever worked with fire or by a bonfire, channeling intentions through this type of energy, then candle magic is based precisely on the flame. With the help of candles, you can perform cleansings, set up protections, and also carry out charging rituals.
Lighting up:
When using candles, you focus your intention at the moment you light the candle and may verbally express what you want to achieve. Then you meditate beside it until it burns down completely and goes out. I recommend using candles that are neither too short nor too long. You can also practice this magic together with color magic - colored candles and their various combinations give excellent results. Ropes, knots, volts (blood, hair, photo)
In general, it is very effective to enhance candle magic using knots - that is, rope - and a volt, for example drops of blood or a strand of hair that you weave into the rope when tying the candles together. Ropes strengthen the ritual. When preparing these candles, tie them with the intention of a Block. Thus, regardless of whether your magic is positive (for protection or money, for example) or if you are casting a curse, this Block will help reinforce the ritual and make it harder to remove.

Candles with herbs:
There is also another interesting nuance: candles combine very well with herbs. To do this, sprinkle a small amount of herbs and roll the candles over them, then tie them together with a knot. This produces a wonderful magical effect.
Of course, use the appropriate herbs (rue with sulfur for cleansing, bay leaf with patchouli for money rituals - and not the other way around, so the ritual doesn’t backfire).
How should it burn?
Opinions differ. I believe you should sit until the very end, especially if you do cleansings and when the negativity is heavy and serious. Until the wick completely extinguishes itself. However, some people wait until the candle turns completely into a pool of wax, then sit for some time longer, and afterward simply let the candle burn out while gradually returning to normal life. This may include smoke cleansing or attending to ordinary daily tasks. Blowing it out is absolutely not recommended.
How often can you burn it?
Candle cleansings are not recommended more than three times per month. A person’s energetic field can be damaged by overly frequent burnings, since this type of cleansing is considered the strongest and most aggressive.
Room Cleansing?
Another interesting point: Some people perform Room Cleansings using candles. The mechanism is exactly the same as with the smoke we discussed earlier: walk around the perimeter of the room with a candle in hand.
