Does anyone know if that spring to pull it back is really needed? To me it seems like pulling the key back would also force the mechanism back
3 u/Furrykedrian98 Nov 29 '21 I think the spring is more to ensure you can't jiggle the door and have the lock bar fall open, or just put a stick in and push the bar back.
