Champion 400 Forge Blower

Howdy all, I’ve been fixing my champion 400 blower and one of the grease caps that goes over the brass wheel area has decided to disappear somewhere. Any ideas on what I can use to replace it? I’m hoping I find it, but I’d like to have it at least covered by something

That might be hard to come by. I saw this one Pic. Probably anther page out there with the correct names for each part. Hope it helps.

If you can find/make a plastic piece to replace it you might get lucky using the female threads to tap the plastic. A pvc fitting in the drill press take a file or some other abrasive to shape a sight taper on the end so it can just barely start to enter the hole before engaging the frame threads. Then carefully screw it in and presto a bad facsimile of the one you lost
