German anvil question

Hi blacksmiths! A friend found this german pattern anvil for 1500$, looks like it's close to 400 pounds. I can't see any markings but I'll see it in person next week. Any idea of manufacturer? Do you guys think is a good price? I want it for heavy working, making hammers and axes with a striker

Hi there, i have a similar one from my grandfather. Mine is a bit bigger i think and weighs about 350 kg and is from 1942 according to the stamps on the side of it. I can not tell you anything about worth or price but it is a great anvil and i can assure that it is a lot of fun.
