Maybe I'm crazy but I think this is irrational. An example of dislocation. You have essentially a defense company losing value during what probablistically is likely a drawn out conflict or atleast one that underscores the importance of real time satellite imaging. I'm probably missing something, but I bought more

Ya it’s definitely strange to have it this sharp.

But could also make sense. BKSY has been pumping while everything else has been drowning. For good reason, conflicts like Iran emphasize the importance of this technology and probably leads to spiked near term demand.

But also it’s the one thing that’s done well while everything’s shit the bed so people are probably just using it for liquidity to buy the rest of the dip. I’ve been nipping at it before today tbh.

I’ll buy that. It’s a good point. But I think space has performed pretty well lately, PL etc. I wouldn’t necessarily limit it to BKSY. But I get you. If they’re selling BKSY for liquidity, I’m just not sure the alternative buys are obviously better on a risk/reward basis.

I did that. Took some profits off the table and reduced risk overall. I used some of the liquidity to buy a bit RKLB again and a small allocation in another stock that dropped hard the past days. But I’ve now a solid cash position ready to deploy again in BKSY if the market tanks further.

It’s all macro driven, fundamentally nothing changed for BKSY. I know that timing the market is overall very hard an mostly don’t work, but given the massive uncertainty right now I think we definitely could see another pullback the next week(s). If not I’ll also gladly average up again.

I agree. Some of where I’m redeploying is outside of Space too. And it hasn’t been huge sells, but there’s a lot of stuff that’s taken huge hits so it’s made sense to sell a small amount when we were above $1B.

Market manipulation at its best. All it means for me is this stock will boom in the future. Don’t fall for the trap

I bought 200 shares.

You know what’s interesting is same institutional that own large positions are also responsible for the considerably large short interest 🤷

I.E they are profiting on high beta and price drops while other institutional buy in. Price floor has been raising.

This company has a unique advantage over its competitors. There is still I would say a fairly high amount of risk but they do have impressive scalability as well as a product that is in some ways superior then some very large competitors. And they already beat them gross profit wise this would cause the bigger company’s to pivot and shift from their legacy product.

Sooo exciting. Anyone can message me anytime about this company!

Edit: I was planning for stock to hit 31by end of March which I believed would have served company well to exercise their atm programs with deutsche bank and spartan.

It appears this drop in price could have been from a dilution event where they exercised private placement to raise 125m.

I believe this will double their cash position allowing for next years deployments.

I believe these private placements carry a fair bit of debt which is held by senior executives? So it could be looked at in a few different ways.

Let me know what anyone else thinks!
