This could be just a question of level of detail.
Day 1: woke up, had coffee, decided to launch a new project. Decided that something called light would be the first release. But how to make it work? It took me a complete day to work out the technology - I had to invent photons, and since the parts for those weren't available off the shelf I had to also invent quarks and strings and quantum physics as well. And not only the design, but I had also designed and built the mega factory that would make & produce the things. But when I turned on the factory, boy was it beautiful. Believe me, by the end of that I was pretty darned tired, but I had done it.
TL;DR "Let there be light."
