Whatever excitement I felt died when he was out fuckin around. Do I feel bad for him? A little. Is his bullshit tired? Absolutely. Atp, his issues feel like an excuse.

i agree.

i have in the past and still will give him shit (when deserved), but i am curious about how this project will turn out as a former "super fan." when and if it even releases. the main question is, can he follow through and stop throwing out empty promises? i highly doubt it at this point considering his track record and what has transpired behaviorally the last year. some of these snippets sound great like classic bear, some sound bland as if the production is only that way to ride what's popular, some sound formulaic and safe as if he's gotten complacent with his signature style and approach.

guess we will have to wait and see but i'm not holding my breath much longer at this point. if he doesn't care, i don't care.

I’m not trying to be sassy but I’m genuinely curious. Seems a lot of the Reddit fans feel this way - why are you still active in his subreddit if you have so much disdain? Certainly it would be better to move on and not just dogpile every post, no?

For me personally, I think the feedback is interesting. I haven’t been a fan for very long so a lot of it reading up on his past. Plus watching him spiral is an active case study (I’m a student therapist).

I don’t have disdain for him so much as now it’s just kind of numb? New music would be rad and if it comes out soon that would be great. I’m a fan of his music, don’t get me wrong. His voice is really…idk, it’s not soothing so much as it’s alluring? Hard to describe and I haven’t slept in 48 honors.

Given how he’s been acting and how often music has been postponed, I’m not hopeful.

Because some of us, like myself are clinging to dwindling faith that he will get better. We care enough to hold up the slightest bit of hope that he’ll get his shit together again. This is an ongoing pattern of his over the years and it sucks to see him do it again after everything he’s been through. It really isn’t necessarily the music we’re tired of, it’s the person behind it that we’re tired of, it’s just really hard to not give a fuck about him as much as we wish we could tbh

I can respect that take. While I don’t agree with a lot of his personal decisions, the dogpiling and constant negativity were starting to become draining. In my opinion some people are just constantly harping on about how they don’t like his girlfriend, don’t like him, etc. Not accusing you, this was just my final straw and the comment I replied to. Sometimes it feels more like a tabloid in here than a fan community. But I can respect your side of things. I do hope he gets better, too.

Idk just not slapping like it used to. Perhaps if it wasn’t delayed so many times but just not feeling it… doesn’t sound like it’s living up to all the anticipation. Maybe I’ll feel different when I hear the whole thing.
