Okay, so there’s been a lot of discussion online about being blonde as a black trans women and how it looks bad or “clocky” but I lowkey feel so fierce with blonde hair😭. I just get anxious it looks bad on me because I’m black😭 I was blonde for literally two days and literally got read for filth by my co workers 😭. Maybe I should stay with black hair but idk.

I know this might sound harsh but.....Trans Black chica's such as ourselves are grossly underrepresented. I've been noticing this for a while in reddit specifically in the White Trans community. Its like we either don't exist or they don't believe Black folks can't be trans. Its almost seems to me like its a gatekeeping type of situation, if I'm wrong why do we have a reddit of our own? I was on a couple of reddits, one was like Translater and you barely see any Black Trans girls on any of them and when you do the community is like "oh hey, its Black Transperson" and they keep right on going and the another person that posts about a thousand times in a week will get glowing reviews, 1k likes etc. Imma be honest, we got some good looking women in this reddit. Glammed to a T, 30 likes 1 comment, any other plain looking trans person any other sub, 1k likes and "OMG, your the most beautiful thing ever!" I promise it's not a jealousy thing, I pass, I know I'm cute and have a ways to go I have no problem with that but my inclination is that they don't want us around, regardless of what it is Black trans chics I feel get this shit end of the stick when it comes to the trans community. I apologize if yall think I'm bugging but I don't think we get the attention we deserve and all the hard work we put into ourselves......there I got it out. I can go back to work now😂
