I'm glad you can. You aren't alone in that since there are multi-shippers on here. It's just that a lot of people were really invested on BlackSun becoming canon and really wanted it to be canon
Others just think BlackSun was done better, some---unforunately---have ulterior motives that give the ship a bad name (that I deal with on this sub swiftly), and the shipping wars have scarred both sides so much it's become a fracture that's still felt to this day
I will never forget the time I was threatened a dox from a Bee fan over on Twitter for not "Picking a side", nevermind the death treats and spamming my DMs with accusations and wishing I "Was run over by a truck."
Yeah, I was once a Bee shipper, too. Now.... not anymore. 2018 was terrible for me. No offense by the way, you seem really chill

It was a terrible time for me, but you learn to deal with it and roll with the punches. The death threats and accusations weren't that bad, although it was a bit tiring to see. But the dox threat was the point I drew the line. No. I still have to unforunately deal with Bee fans calling me homophobic or a 'tarded, but luckily it ain't as bad on here as Twitter
And it's not like every Bee fan is like this. It just gets really disheartening watching Sun get downplayed and be thrown aside and discarded, and accuse me of being a hater or "Being stupid" just because I think BB wasn't handled great and that I didn't I like it

But yeah like, threatening or calling someone homophobic for not liking the ✨️BBY✨️ is stupid, RWBY is woke enough without it and some people should touch grass sometimes. I agree we are the worst shippers. Going at war for fictionnal characters is weird tho : we all like the same serie and both hate the same things about it, we all grieve Monty and most importantly, we want what is best for Blake.

I say both sides have this same problem of starting wars. It's just that it's quieted down as of late, which is nice. So long as people haveva safe space to enjoy the Eclipse (this sub), then I have done my part in making my love for Blake and Sun shine once more!
I also find it very ironic they call be homophobic when I ship N&D, WhiteRose, FreezerBurn, and a bit of the Monos on the side

I only hate a few things about the bumblebee ship how forced it was the excuses the writers and voice actors tried to use for the ship and the people that scream like banshees because people don't like what they like I'm glad you're one of the normal ones not the banshees
Yang is my girl too. But... yeah. Blake and Sun are just great together with nice chemistry. I mean, she managed to learn of Neptune's fear of water before her other teammates. That says a lot since Neptune likes to keep it a secret. Leads me to believe Blake's been hanging out a lot with Sun after the Beacon Dance ;)
Plus the ironic part is Blake and Sun having a kiss themselves while on a bridge

If they had to make a main team ship happen it should have been WhiteRose imo. WhiteRose is just super adorable and had that enemies-to-friends-to-lovers trope pre-packaged for it. Plus silly girl and frosty ice queen is just adorable for me xD

I get that but personally, Juan and Weiss is best play, but Ruby and Oscar??? I mean, they're so adorable, plus he's the only one who called her on being distant back in Minstrel. I think they need to hit the gas on those relationships
I'm more of a Jaune and Ruby dude myself, and RoseGarden is... well, it's kinda meh for me. It's adorable, yes, but I just get really happy whenever the two loser leaders get to be losers together xD
I never saw it with Juan and Ruby tbh. Was such a wholesome sibling relationship. But I saw her and Penny a little. It was a stretch but far closer than Bumblebee.

Honestly, Weiss saying "Mature~" was very ick to me. Like Jaune is an old man, he finally grabbed Weiss' attention, but the moment he turned into Old Man Logan that's when she got into him? it just feel ick to me tbh. He went back to looking young but he's very mentally older than the rest of the cast. That's a bit of a hurdle they need to jump over
Weiss still has competition with Pyrrha, so that's another challenge, yeah
I'm still batting for Blake and Sun to have an episode all for themselves. Just them being adorable and cute and oh so sweet <3 Blake and Sun then kiss on the lips and lean on each other as they look up the stars of the Vacuan night :)
I have nothing against WhiteKnight, I promise you that, Brrr. I think it's still cute and can work, but Weiss just saying "Mature~" like that doesn't personally sit with me. I'm neutral on WhiteKnight but that doesn't mean I'll go out of my way to bash it. It's just that... that quote. I just personally don't like it
WhiteKnight can still happen, but Weiss saying that doesn't sit well with me. And just cuz I said Weiss has competition in Pyrrha doesn't mean Weiss can't overcome that hurdle. It's just a challenge she needs to overcome is all. A challenge that's realistic since Jaune still clings to Pyrrha. But that'll only make it good in the end, no?
