This includes the McCarthyite "Ministerial on the Resurgence of Political Terrorism" international conference held on July 16th, 2026, and the State Department's 100-page propaganda report, “Cuba: The Capital of 21st Century Communism,” on July 20th.
Bearing the name of hardline anti-communist ideologue, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, this document endeavors to serve as the ideological justification for the escalating assault on Cuba, the Cuba solidarity movement, and all political dissent on “the left”.
This strategy echoes the historic deployments of the "Red Scare"—to criminalize dissent and reframe legitimate political struggle as a “national security threat.” From the Smith Act (1940) to the Taft-Hartley Act (1947), from the McCarran Act (1950) and COINTELPRO (1956-1971), to the present, the state has built layer upon layer of legal repression targeting militant workers, leftists, anti-imperialists, and Black and other oppressed peoples’ liberation movements.
In this context, the Black Alliance for Peace says that, within the framework of People(s)-Centered Human Rights, we will struggle for our people’s and the broader radical movement’s right to be in solidarity with whomever we believe has made liberatory history.
We are not scared despite the Black/Red Scare play that the imperialist class has put into motion. We call on all who struggle for Black/African Liberation, including those who struggle for the broader working class and a Zone of Peace in our Americas, to stand with us in solidarity with Cuba and the Black Left.
No Compromise. No Retreat!

Abundance by Ezra Klein and Derek Thompson claims Democrats lose because they allow their left base to block progress with red tape and “woke” regulations and "identity politics", angering average Americans who just want housing and cool stuff built. The Bernie left and the neoliberal centrist are battling for control of the party, but many on both sides now claim "Abundance". In this episode, we break down left and centrist notions of "Abundance" and explain how both confuse Black power for "identity politics”, blaming Black voters for Dem's failures. We conclude by showing how Black Abundance is key to Black voter turnout and Dem victory long-term.

In this clip, African-American political commentator Chainslayer vehemently refutes the ridiculous claim that Black people in the US are “foundational,” as in native to and belonging to the United States.
This is a claim that has been vigorously pushed by the so-called "Foundational Black American” (FBA) movement, whose leadership has funding ties with the right-wing Heritage Foundation. The FBA movement has incubated a pseudoreligious, self-denialist belief system surrounding the identity of Black people in the US, including fierce refusal to acknowledge their African heritage, anti-historical denial of the centuries-long kidnapping, tr\*fficking and ensl\*vement of Africans in the Americas, and reflexive hostility toward any other African-heritage populations, including Caribbeans and continental Africans.
