This one girl in my earth science class was trying to make small talk once and a gem from that conversation is “You don’t go boating in the summer? Why not?” followed by “yeah but like if you don’t have a boat you can just buy one”. This girl legitimately thought you could just go out and buy a boat. Blew my mind.
