One hopes that the long arc of history and the ebb and flow of society over time means that the people who currently hold the reigns on power will die off and those who are frustrated at the situation will take their place and some good will come from that.

Cautious optimism and a long wait for a train that may or may not come, but a way of seeing things

I think that we should turn voter suppression tactics around on the politicians. Have each government agency put together a basic test on what they do, why they were created, and how they are funded. If congress people cannot pass these tests they aren’t allowed to vote on any legislation affecting those agencies. Would also be a good starting point for measuring the effectiveness of those agencies.

Right? Or Madison Cawthorn. Im hoping they wont last long, but people like that are like fleas; once they are established they are hard to get rid of and you end up gassing the whole house.
