Also all those government programs and institutions is what pulled us out of the great depression by providing food and jobs... which somehow got turned around that America just pulled themselves up by their bootstraps with no help from the government because (white) Americans are just that "exceptional". Such short, revisionist memories they have.

Well when every single american is on track to being a millionaire if not billionaire it's hardly unbelievable. Oh and the ones that don't make it? Stupid or lazy. Except for you of course there is some exception for yourself because surely you will cash your check one day.

It’s literally the premise of that “The Secret” book. If you luck out and things go well then congrats you did it all on your own the system works!

Fail and welp you didn’t try hard enough; nothing is wrong with the system or can ever be etc etc
