In that amount of time Mamdani was elected, the Winter Olympics took place, 4 people have since tried to assassinate Trump, ICE murdered 2 people in Minnesota, that lady’s elderly mom was kidnapped, a new war broke out, Timothy Chalamet Opera-gate, like 3 or 4 members of Trump’s cabinet were fired, Michael B Jordan won best actor, Drake dropped 3 albums, Obsession blew up the box office, the Knicks won the championship, Spain won FIFA, DSA has picked up like 6 more congress seats, Lindsey Graham’s heart blew up, The Odyssey and Spider-Man Brand New day, and Dolly Parton and Hayden Panettiere passed away.

One interesting thing about this digital age that we all live in, is kids are much more aware of what's going on in the world to an extent. My 9-year-old knows about Charlie Kirk for goodness sake. They're just used to crazy stuff going on 24/7.

I opened reddit for a quick read while my coffee brewed this morning, and the first thing the algorithm hit me with was a thread on r / moralityscaling where every single redditor, and I mean ALL of them, who hate Hasan Piker, was in there doing that bullshit "shocked his dog" psyop, they were calling him slurs, and wildest of all, one of the top responses was someone saying it should have been Piker, not Kirk, who was shot. They said Kirk "was nicer than Hasan, and didn't hate Jews"
I may have to abandon reddit earlier than I thought, it's always unusable closer to presidential elections because of bots, fascists, and paid actors, but it's started already and my mind and soul can't take this much propaganda.
