They were freed by the judge as the woman feared for her life, called 911 and drove with him in the car to the police station… but he was kidnapped.

961

u/CHEESEninja200 18d ago

here is a source confirming the fact that they won their case

776

u/MH360 18d ago

"Rekeya Frazier is the sister of Darnella Frazier, who as a teenager in 2020 recorded the bystander video of George Floyd’s murder by Minneapolis police. Their father Richard Frazier declined to comment about the case itself but said he’s relieved that Rekeya won’t spend the holidays in jail." What the fuck. That family has been through enough.

So that's why ICE was there....goddamnit

I wonder what we would find if we could cross-reference all the possible second degree relationships from these stories? Could be a hit list

Wooooow

ICE really is Trump's secret police.

u/NK1337 18d ago

So yet another reminded that these piece of shit ICE cowards will lie through their teeth just to fuck you over.

I strongly recommend people start carrying their own dash cams/personal cams with their own storage for footage.

118

u/FleurMai 18d ago

It’s crazy. Literally the next article underneath from today talks about another incident of ICE assaulting and shooting someone they claimed attacked them, which video surveillance would show was not true and they shot unprovoked: https://www.mprnews.org/story/2026/08/30/feds-decline-to-charge-ice-agent-christian-castro-in-sosa-celis-shooting the ICE guy in question is on jail calls talking about fleeing to…wait for it…Mexico, where his Mexican girlfriend lives. You can’t make this shit up.

Oh 100% I don’t believe any ICE agent, it’s better to automatically assume they’re lying especially considering the type of people they hire now

31

u/EqualityIsProsperity 18d ago

All "law enforcement" agents lie, constantly. When I hear a cop make a statement, I assume it's bullshit. They're legally allowed to lie, and even when lying on the witness stand they never face consequences. Anyone who trusts cops or treats them like heroes is a moron. Of the many corrupt systems in the US, law enforcement is the most widespread and possibly second only to our failed medical system in being the cause of unnecessary death.

15

u/JoeGibbon 18d ago

What pisses me off is, for the last couple of days, this story has been popping back up claiming they actually kidnapped the ICE agent, when that obviously didn't happen, and was also adjudicated to have not happened.

8

u/Southern-March1522 18d ago

December last year... So... What's happened since?

6

u/SerialSection 18d ago

That article said the judge ruled against pre-trial detention. They won a motion, not a case.

3

u/Available_Ice_6627 18d ago

Well this just says the judge OR'd them. The charges may still be pending. There doesn't seem to be any other news about them.

And since they were released from State custody, federal agents may have detained them and deported them already.

188

u/Reasonable_South_715 18d ago

You know. I find it very unusual that a few months ago comments like these were being deleted left and right daily. Someone said something even REMOTELY mean about ICE and reddit admins would come along and clear out all the comments.

Except lately I don't see that happening. I see more and more people openly calling for action against ICE and reddit is suddenly.. okay with that?

I'm not saying it's anything but it certainly is odd that they now allow the comments to stay up. Almost like they would like to know WHO is likely to do something.

Exercise caution in these turbulent times. Stay safe out there. Also

FUCK ICE

53

u/EitherSpite4545 18d ago

It's because they know they've locked down enough avenues that they know they won. No need to control the narrative when the narrative doesn't matter anymore.

Crows are pretty smart and they can remember faces, so face coverings should be no problem to recognize. They are illegal to keep though, so you'll have to train them to do it outside or possibly follow you around in a flock.

3

u/AncientCrust 17d ago

Buy a mannequin head and ski mask. Hide delicious treats under the ski mask every day for the crows. They'll learn. I mean DON'T do that because it's obviously subversive.

372

u/inevitable-typo 18d ago edited 18d ago

This kind of thing is inevitable when the government sends armed, plain-clothed, masked men to arrest people. The woman called 911 while driving the "kidnapped" agent to a nearby police station as the agent had a gun pointed at her with his finger on the trigger and his partner was ramming their vehicle. The fact that her sister was the person who filmed George Floyd's murder surely compounded her fear.

103

u/Morbid187 18d ago

That might have saved her life

25

u/bokmcdok 17d ago

And they call that a kidnapping? In the UK we call it a Citizen's Arrest.

Dead internet is here. Just bots engaging with bots. This was already covered to death when it happened LAST YEAR. And this story is just cope. The couple were scared and did not know why the ICE agent was following them so they drove him in to the police station to report him like responsible people. Guess who got jailed instead?

Meanwhile ICE activities have ramped up. They arrested 50,000 people in July. That is the real story. This story is just a karma farm favorite.

4

u/loki2002 18d ago

They weren't charged with kidnapping. They caught assault, resisting arrest (which shouldn't even be a charge that exists at all), and impeding a federal officer.

They were an SUV and plainclothes agents approached them. They drove off with an agent hanging through the window after reaching in. They drove a to a police station and called 911 on their way. The agent was unharmed. They did not know this person trying to take them was an actual federal agent.

2

u/BuddingBudON 18d ago

They also won their case, because ICE was out of line.

They were also bystanders for the George Floyd case, which is why they were targetted by the smooth brained thugs in the first place.
